Terms of Service

1. Service Description

God's Property is an SMS messaging platform designed for South African churches and organizations using Planning Center Online. Our service allows you to:

• Sync data from your Planning Center account
• Send SMS messages to groups, lists, and individuals
• Manage SMS campaigns and track delivery
• Purchase SMS credits on a pay-as-you-use basis

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You must represent a legitimate church or religious organization
• You must have appropriate authority to connect your organization's Planning Center account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate and current information

3. Planning Center Integration

3.1 Authorization

• You must have administrator access to your Planning Center account
• You authorize us to access Planning Center data according to the permissions you grant
• You can revoke access at any time through Planning Center or our platform

3.2 Data Responsibility

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data in your Planning Center account
• You must have appropriate consent to send SMS messages to people in your database
• You agree that Planning Center data belongs to your organization, not to us

4. SMS Messaging Guidelines

4.1 Acceptable Use

• Send messages only to people who have consented to receive them
• Content must be appropriate for a religious/church context
• Messages must comply with South African telecommunications regulations
• Respect opt-out requests immediately

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not send messages containing:

• Spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or marketing not related to your organization
• Illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• False or misleading information
• Content that violates intellectual property rights
• Messages designed to defraud or deceive recipients

5. Payment and Credits

5.1 Credit System

• SMS messages cost R0.35 per message (1 credit = R0.35)
• Credits must be purchased in advance before sending messages
• Credits do not expire and are non-refundable
• Failed message deliveries may result in credit refunds at our discretion

5.2 Billing

• Payments are processed securely through Paystack
• All prices include VAT where applicable
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Disputes must be raised within 60 days of the transaction

6. Service Availability and Support

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• Support is provided during South African business hours
• We aim to respond to support requests within 24 hours

7. Intellectual Property

• God's Property platform and technology are owned by Black Code Software Development
• Your Planning Center data and message content remain your property
• You grant us a license to use your data solely for providing our service
• You may not reverse engineer or copy our platform

9. Account Termination

9.1 By You

• You may close your account at any time by contacting support
• Unused credits are forfeited upon account closure
• We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure

9.2 By Us

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms
• We may terminate accounts for non-payment or fraudulent activity
• We will provide 30 days notice for termination without cause

10. Compliance and Legal

• These terms are governed by South African law
• Disputes will be resolved in South African courts
• You agree to comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations
• We comply with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through our platform. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
